Categories are now called modules in the hub's course editor. A module is a folder that groups related lessons, for example "Week 1: Foundations" or "Bonus Resources". This article shows you how to add, rename, reorder and remove modules in a course.
Before you start
You need a course already created under Courses. If you do not have one yet, open Courses, click Create New, choose Start from scratch, fill in the title and description, and click Create Course.
Have your course outline handy so you know which modules you want and in what order.
Open the course editor
In the left menu, click Courses.
Open the Products list and click the course you want to work on.
The course editor opens. On the left you will see the Course Map, which works like a table of contents. The main area on the right is where you edit whatever you select in the map.
Breadcrumbs at the top show where you are inside the course, so you can always step back to the course level.
Create a module
In the course editor, click + Add Content.
Choose the option to add a module (the exact wording can vary slightly depending on your account, but it is the first grouping level in the list).
Give the module a clear title. Learners see this title in their course outline.
Add a short description if you want learners to know what the module covers.
Save. The new module appears in the Course Map.
You can also create a sub-module inside a module if you want a second level, for example "Week 1" containing "Day 1" and "Day 2". Select the parent module first, then click + Add Content again.
Edit a module
In the Course Map, click the module name. Its details open in the main editor area.
Change the title, description or thumbnail as needed.
Save your changes.
Quick actions such as edit, delete and change visibility are available from the module's entry in the Course Map, so you do not need to open each one fully to make small changes.
Reorder modules
In the Course Map, click and hold the module you want to move.
Drag it up or down to the new position and release.
The order updates immediately and is what learners will see.
Modules can be collapsed and expanded in the Course Map. Collapse the ones you are not working on to keep the list short.
Delete a module
Find the module in the Course Map and open its quick actions.
Choose Delete and confirm.
Deleting a module removes the lessons inside it as well, so move any lessons you want to keep into another module first. Dragging a lesson from one module to another works the same way as reordering.
Tips
Keep module titles short and numbered (01, 02, 03) so the order is obvious to learners.
A module that is still in draft is not visible to learners. Check its status in the Course Map before you tell people the course is ready. See the article "Statuses on Products" for details.
If you want a module to unlock a set number of days after enrolment, use its Drip Settings. See "How To Setup Drip Content for Categories & Subcategories in Products".
Use Preview Mode in the editor to see the course the way a learner does before you publish.
