Connecting Stripe to the Hub

Connect your Stripe account so you can take payments in funnels, courses and invoices.

Stripe is the main way to take card payments inside Mastermind Business Hub. Once it is connected, you can sell courses, send invoices, add order forms to funnels, and see every payment in one place. Setup takes about five minutes.

Before you start

  • Have the login for the Stripe account you want to use, or be ready to create one during setup.

  • Make sure your Stripe login has permission to authorise connections. If it does not, the Stripe account owner may need to adjust your access.

  • Check that Stripe supports your country.

  • One hub account connects to one Stripe account. If you run several businesses with separate Stripe accounts, they will need separate hub accounts.

Steps to connect Stripe

You can start from either of two places in the hub. Both lead to the same Stripe screen.

Option A: from Payments

  1. In the left menu, go to Payments.

  2. Click the Integrations tab.

  3. Find Stripe and click Connect (sometimes shown as Connect with Stripe).

Option B: from Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Find Stripe and click Continue.

Then finish in Stripe

  1. Follow Stripe's authorisation prompts.

  2. Log in to the Stripe account you want to use. If you do not have one yet, follow Stripe's prompts to create it.

  3. Review the connection details Stripe asks you to approve, then authorise the connection.

  4. Return to Payments > Integrations in the hub.

  5. Confirm that Stripe now shows as connected or enabled.

  6. If a Manage button appears, click it to review your Stripe settings, including which payment methods are switched on.

Test mode and live mode

  • Stripe has a test mode that lets you simulate payments without charging a real card. It is a good way to check a funnel or invoice before you share it.

  • Payment methods are set up separately for test mode and live mode. Before you launch anything customer-facing, confirm you are in live mode and the methods you want are enabled there.

Tips

  • Payments made directly in Stripe before you connected are not imported into the hub. The hub tracks new transactions made through the hub from the moment you connect.

  • If you already have recurring or subscription products in Stripe, those can be imported into the hub. One-time products should be created fresh in the hub under Payments.

  • If you connect more than one payment provider, you can choose a preferred provider for different areas of the hub. Check Payments > Integrations if a payment is going through a different provider than you expected.

  • Some invoice workflows let you record a manual payment without Stripe, but processing a card through the hub requires a connected provider.

Troubleshooting

Stripe does not show as connected after I authorised it

  1. Go back to Payments > Integrations and check the Stripe status.

  2. If it is not enabled, confirm the authorisation was completed with a Stripe login that has enough permission.

  3. Reconnect Stripe if needed, or ask the Stripe account owner to check your access.

A payment method is missing at checkout

  • Check your Stripe account's eligibility, country, currency, and verification status.

  • Confirm the method is enabled in the correct mode (test or live).

  • Some methods need extra approval from Stripe before they appear.
