Social Planner lets you write, schedule, and publish posts to your social accounts from one place in the hub. Connect your accounts once, then plan a week or a month of content in a single sitting.

Supported platforms include Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Bluesky. Post types, media options, and analytics vary by platform.

Before you start

  • Make sure you can sign in to each social platform you want to connect.

  • You need admin or publishing access to the page, profile, channel, or board. For Facebook, the profile you sign in with must be an admin of every Page you want to connect.

  • Have your captions, links, images, and videos ready, and check that media meets each platform's size and format rules.

  • Check your business time zone under Settings > Business Profile. Scheduled posts use it.

  • You can explore Social Planner and draft posts without a connected account, but you need an active connection to publish or schedule.

Step 1: Connect your first account

  1. In the left menu, click Email & Social Media, then open Social Planner.

  2. Select the platform you want to connect.

  3. Sign in to that platform and approve the requested permissions.

  4. Choose the page, profile, channel, board, or location you want to manage.

  5. Finish authorisation and confirm the account now appears in Social Planner.

Step 2: Connect more accounts

  1. In Social Planner, click the Settings gear.

  2. Open Social Accounts.

  3. Click + Connect Social.

  4. Select the platform, sign in, approve permissions, and pick the account.

  5. Confirm it shows as connected.

Step 3: Create and schedule a post

  1. In Social Planner, click + New Post, then Create New Post.

  2. Select the accounts that should receive the post.

  3. Write your caption and add links or hashtags.

  4. To add media, click the Image or Video icon and upload your file. Wait for the upload to finish before switching accounts. Leave Media Optimization on if you want the hub to adjust the media for each platform's requirements.

  5. If you are posting to several platforms, turn on Customize for Each Channel to vary the caption or media per platform.

  6. Check each platform in the Post Preview panel.

  7. Choose what to do with the post: publish now, schedule it for a date and time, save as draft, or set it as a recurring post.

Other ways to create posts

  • Templates: click + New Post, then Social Planner Templates, to start from a ready-made design. After choosing accounts, posting days, and times, go to Review & Schedule and click Import. Template posts do not appear on your calendar until you complete this step.

  • Bulk scheduling: upload a CSV or XLSX file with up to 90 posts at once. Fix any flagged errors before importing.

  • Evergreen queue: build a category queue of posts that the hub reuses on a schedule.

Checking your posts and results

  • The Planner tab shows drafts, scheduled, published, and failed posts.

  • The Statistics area in Social Planner shows performance for each connected platform.

Troubleshooting

  • A post will not publish: at least one active, connected account must be selected. Check Social Accounts in Social Planner settings.

  • My Facebook Page is missing: confirm the profile you signed in with is a Page admin. If it still does not appear, reconnect Facebook and approve all permissions.

  • An account shows a permissions or authentication alert: reconnect it. Scheduled posts for that account will not go out until you do.

  • Posts went out at the wrong time: check the business time zone under Settings > Business Profile.

  • No analytics showing: availability depends on the platform, account type, and permissions. Reconnect the account if the hub asks for updated analytics permissions.
