The Client Portal is the private area where your clients log in to reach their courses, community and other products. This article walks you through naming and branding the portal, putting it on your own domain, and choosing how clients sign in.
Before you start
You need admin access to the hub.
If you want the portal on your own domain (for example, members.yourbrand.com), have your domain registrar login handy. You will add one DNS record there.
Have your logo, a square portal image and your brand colours ready.
Step 1: Brand your portal
In the left menu, go to Client Portal.
Open Branding.
Fill in the settings:
Portal Name: the name shown at the top of the portal.
Portal Description: a short line that tells clients what the portal is for.
Brand Color One: your main colour, used for buttons and headings.
Brand Color Two: a secondary colour for accents.
Favicon: a square SVG, PNG or JPG, up to 16 x 16 px.
Portal Image: a square SVG, PNG or JPG, up to 720 x 720 px.
Logo: a square SVG, PNG or JPG, up to 200 x 200 px.
Support Email: the address clients should write to for help.
Copy Right: footer text such as "© 2026 Your Company".
Click Save Settings.
Step 2: Put the portal on your own domain
By default your portal lives on a hub-provided address. To use your own domain:
Go to Client Portal > Settings and find Domain Setup.
Choose Custom domain and type the domain you want to use, such as members.yourbrand.com.
Log in to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare and so on) and open the DNS settings.
Add one new record using the values shown on the Domain Setup screen. You can use either:
An A record pointing to 162.159.140.166, or
A CNAME record pointing to preview.clientclub.net.
Save the DNS change.
Wait for the change to spread across the internet. This usually takes minutes but can take up to 24 to 48 hours.
Back in the hub, click Update Domain.
If you later change the domain, anyone visiting the old address sees a notice with a link to the new one and is redirected automatically after 30 seconds.
Step 3: Choose how clients log in
Go to Client Portal > Settings.
Open App Permissions.
Turn Google Sign-In on or off, then save.
With Google Sign-In off, clients can still log in with their email and password, or with a secure code sent to their email. You can also send clients a login email or a magic link from the Client Portal dashboard, which signs them in without a password.
Step 4: Set a default language (optional)
Go to Client Portal > Settings > Language Settings.
Pick a language and click Save.
Clients can change their own language later from Manage your Account > Language Settings inside the portal.
Step 5: Share the portal link
Copy the portal URL from the Domain Setup section and share it by email, text or on your website. Clients who already have course logins can use the same details in the portal.
Troubleshooting
My branding is not showing. Clear your browser cache or open the portal in a private (incognito) window. Branding can take a moment to refresh.
My custom domain is not working yet. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours. Double-check that the record type and value match exactly what the Domain Setup screen shows, with no extra spaces.
Clients cannot see a course. The portal only shows products a client has been given access to. Check the client's course or offer access first.
